The Canadian Secular Alliance is pleased to present a discussion on “Religion & Prayer in Canadian Public Spaces.”

Lauren Forbes, the keynote speaker for this event, is a graduate of McGill University (2010) and University of Ottawa (2012). She is the author of “To Pray or Not to Pray, is that the Question?: How the Increasing Desire for State Neutrality Affects Prayer Before Council Meetings in Canada,” which will form the basis of her talk: “Religion & Prayer in Canadian Public Spaces: Exploring Issues of Secularism, Neutrality and Equality.”

After Forbes’ presentation, there will be time for a Q & A and discussion.

The event will be held on March 26, at 7:30 EDT: Medical Science Building  U of T

Room 4171, 1 King’s College Circle, Toronto M5S 1A8

The Canadian Secular Alliance is asking $20 for admission to cover expenses for this special event and to fundraise for the organization.
